What do you put on top of your Christmas tree?

Last year I had a bow on top of my Christmas tree but my Mum wasn't keen, she always has a star and sees that as traditional.
It's got me wondering...What do you put on top of your tree?

We have a star on top of each of our trees as well. Tricky to get in place though, as it makes the tree top heavy.

A star made out of straws stapled together and sprayed silver, DS made it in Primary school. It is carefully each year.

An angel on the main one, a Georg Jensen tree topper on the one in the dining room, and it will be Darth Vader on top of the Star Wars tree.

My Nan knitted a little Father Christmas for me when I moved into my first home, that was 21 years ago. He still has pride of place at the top of the tree.
