A WDW themed lounge - ideas, please!
I really want to decorate our lounge in a WDW theme. But must be a parks theme, not a character/movie theme (I love the parks but am not a Disney movie fan per se - if such heresey is allowed on here )
Ideally, I want something quite subtle - nothing too 'in your face' but just something that reminds us of WDW. I love this, although perhaps a bit too 'out there'? i.pinimg/564x/ec/c6/39/e...fee1da31b7.jpg The only thing I have already are some wall lights that look like the bit from Wishes where the two 'wish' fireworks cross over, if anyone remembers that. I love the look of Main Street in MK but no idea how to go about replicating that... |

I’d be inclined to (if you don’t have one already) pop a dado rail in the room - choose two colours from the Main Street buildings you like and paint the bottom one colour and the top the other.
I’d then get some wall lights to look like the lanterns, a big bluey clock and maybe a gallery wall with the main centre being a framed picture of the castle, along with other various Main Street signage etc. |

In DLP I bought a collection of ride poster prints - I have the Gibson Girl one in my kitchen and all the space ones in my son’s space bedroom and others dotted around the house - they are subtle and I adore them - my favourite park purchase ever.

I really liked florida2010’s canvas ( at least I think it was canvas ) that they posted on another thread titled show us your Disney wall art.
I don’t know how to post links, but maybe something like this would look really nice on your wall & was quite subtle. You could have your favourite photo done. Tracy x

I have Haunted Mansion cushions and a table runner in my dining room, I bought them off one of the Dibb advertisers, but sadly I don’t think she’s still on here. They look amazing on my table, and not at all “Halloweeny”

Pjamas, I have the exact same calendar prints on the wall in my stairwell! I've got to dial back the purchases a bit now. We have so many Disney trinkets for the room when it's done - I thin because the room is just bare plaster walls at the moment, I keep buying things that I think will look good but in reality it will turn out to be some sort of weird-looking shrine
