Cheapest tickets I could find are with Undercover Tourist (have to pay $ ) who still have old tickets with old price and you can buy from them with maxpass included still for the $15. Just got mine ordered today.
Me too with 3-day park hopper for October. Pity we arent going up to May as those promo prices for childs tickets are really good and the discounted 4-day hopper makes it cheaper than the 3-day.

Im in Grand Californian for 3 nights so just bought 4x 2 day single park with Maxpass- even that at old prices was 900 odd dollars. At first I nearly bought 3 day park hoppers but I couldnt justify another 550 for that given wed likely only get an evenings use out of the extra day. We will hang around the hotel first night.

We thought Maxpass was well worth having - a curious hybrid of the old and new WDW FP system.

If nothing else, being able to make a FP without having to visit a FP booth is great and, like the current WDW FP system, you can check for FP availability often from your phone and grab any FPs that come up for the big-ticket attractions. The chance of you being able to grab someone else's cancelled FP from an FP booth strikes me as quite unlikely.

With the extreme price of the tickets I finally decided to not pick a park hopper and just do 1 parking per day- so the Maxpass still at $15 a ticket should mean I should get on everything. Im not bothered about the same rides as in WDW with identical layouts- Splash Mountain, Star Wars etc as I do them in WDW.
I must get on:
Roger Rabbit.
Cars.
Guardians
Indiana Jones
Pirates of the Caribbean.
Space Mountain.
Incredicoaster.
The new Spider-Man one.
Matterhorn
Snow White
Grizzly River- any good?
Is Haunted Mansion different?

So 2 days to do the above. With Maxpass hope is be OK.

I think we've decided against max pass (but could change our minds again by tomorrow lol! ) as we're going at a slightly quieter time of year, got 5 day tickets (for 4 1/2 days in parks) and will be there in plenty of time before park opening to hopefully make a good start.
It was working out about 150 extra for the 2 of us on top of park hopper tickets so quite a lot - but we have made a decision that if we're looking like we won't manage everything we want to do, then we'll just buy it for our last full day.
