We’ve always been happy with Lombard’s, it never works out much more than some quick service options in the parks.

It was really tasty and a nice bit of chilled time away from the parks and the heat.

Mardi Gras Snacks

Decided to grab a couple of snacks before leaving the park. All in the lanyard.

Gator bites - nice but small portion.

Another twisted tater which are the firm favourite of DS.

A king cake, we loved this, who knew, soft, a little warm and sweet and cinnamony.

We also filled the mug with a pina colada smoothie. Love the refillable mug! We’ve been using the same one for years.

Pre Teen Take by DS
King cake was really nice and really tasty. I expected it to be sickly but it wasn’t it was lovely.

More Mardi Gras Snacks

After the parade, which was fantastic to watch we decided to have a few snacks. All on the lanyard again. We have 3 credits left.

This time we tried the jambalaya, it was good but ds makes the most amazing jambalaya so it didn’t really compare for us.

The shrimp and sausage po boy. This was really nice.

A sample size beer.

Another king cake as it was so good the first time.

Salmon caesar salad isn't something I'd ever think of ordering but it looked delicious

Chicken, grilled or blackened and shrimp were also options. The blackened salmon was perfect for me though.

Breadbox

Having had snacks we just needed something small to last us till breakfast so we headed to breadbox.

We had the pastrami melt with an extra portion of tater tots. A beer and a Diet Coke.

All good and just the right amount of food shared between the 3 of us.

We waddled back to the hotel weighed down with 150 sets of beads between the 3 of us.
