September/October - 21 Nights
I’ve spent the best part of a year putting this together, reviewing it, chopping, and changing things to the point where it felt like I was changing plans for the sake of it.
A little bit of background information, we’re two adults and one 4-year-old staying for three weeks. I’ve been before, multiple times, but for my son and fiancée it’ll be their first time in the US. We initially planned on a standard two weeks but after looking at plans, we soon realised we needed three weeks in Orlando, and even now, it’s not enough. We do plan on hiring a stroller for him even though he’s been out of one for nearly two years, it will be needed, and he will need rest during the park days. I have tried to incorporate plenty of pool time as well as days where we may only spend half a day in the parks and as always, plans can and will change depending on the weather and mood of our son. Anyway, here’s what I came up with.. Pre-Travel Day – Drop car off at Manchester Airport T2 Meet & Greet – Check-in to Radisson Blu – Virgin Atlantic Twilight Check-in – Uber to Airport Pub for dinner. Travel Day 1 – Breakfast in T2 somewhere – 11am flight to MCO – Walmart either on way to villa or once we’ve unpacked. See how the little one is and take it from there. Day 2 – Easy day, Orlando Premium Outlets, Disney Springs to buy some magic bands and see what the day brings. Day 3 – Morning around pool, Celebration around lunch time, try Downtown Diner, I-Drive/Icon Park in the evening. Day 4 – Magic Kingdom, see what crowd levels are like, park closes at 5pm for MNSSHP, may have an evening around pool with take out. Day 5 – EPCOT, Space 220 reservation at 16:30. Day 6 – Split day at Universal Studios/IOA then Volcano Bay in the afternoon, Old Town in the evening for the classic car cruise. Day 7 – Relaxing morning around pool, Walmart to top up on supplies, Publix sub for lunch – MNSSHP in the evening. Day 8 – Pool morning after a potentially late night from the Halloween party. Hollywood Studios late morning/afternoon. Day 9 – Drive down to Clearwater for the day, dolphin boat tour, Sea Screamer or Little Toot. Day 10 – Another split day at Universal Studios & IOA, head to Disney Springs for a mooch around in the evening. Day 11 – Typhoon Lagoon, afternoon spent at Florida Mall/Mall at Millenia. Day 12 – Animal Kingdom, Rainforest Café reservation at 17:30. Day 13 – Keke’s for breakfast before heading to Gatorland, evening around pool with a takeout. Day 14 – Hollywood Studios for the day. Day 15 – Magic Kingdom – another Walmart trip on way home. Day 16 – Universal Studios/IOA Day 17 – Morning at Volcano Bay, afternoon spent shopping at Vineland/Disney Springs. Day 18 – EPCOT. Day 19 – Cocoa Beach Day 20 – Morning around pool, Animal Kingdom at lunchtime. Day 21 – Magic Kingdom for out last full day. Day 22 – Be depressed, make sure everything is packed, villa is left as nice as we can make it – Disney Springs to grab some food and kill time – head to MCO for 10pm flight.

Looks good, don't know how much strollers are to rent but they are cheap to buy at Walmart, quite a few for under $50. A few villas we have stayed in have had them there too.
Wekiva springs is a nice place to visit, as is lake Apopka wildlife drive, but that is only open Fri, Sat and Sun. |
