We've stayed at Vista Cay too many times to count and love it.


We used Sonder to book an apartment for our 40th wedding anniversary trip, following a Caribbean cruise.
We had a top floor flat which was confirmed and paid for(I have a weird fear of being on the ground floor).

We arrived only to be told that we had a ground floor apartment in the back corner nearest the busy road (only a few bushes between us and the verge).

It ruined the last part of our holiday as they refused to move us even though the block was not full.
I would never book with them again and the parking was $15 a night.

We're there again in February, as normal no parking fees.

We've been provided with the address and photos of the condo in the main part of the complex. which we have always stayed in before as well.

We’ve had the odd thing like the microwave going on the blink, the iron stopped working or one time the washing machine packed in. Be interested to know why you’ve came to that conclusion ?

As I said never paid for parking before at Vista Cay, including times when we have been visitors as well.

On the page below you can see they say £12 per night for parking

On our booking with Cosy Casas they stipulate free self parking, in previous stays with Millenium we have never needed to pay for parking.

We have been many times, fantastic location and quality accommodation. My only reservation was that the swimming pool was too cold though as I understand, this has been upgraded. Enjoy your holiday.

Booked with sonder multiple times - our most recent trip in Mar 2023 had a parking charge - went to price it for our return trip later this year and there website still details a parking charge.

You have to enter your reg into a website to avoid being towed - was how it was worded during our last stay.

We are returning to vista cay but taking a gamble with a private listing on vrbo. Sonder prices are significantly higher for our dates

I have seen other letting agents and providers detail free parking so either sonder are cashing in or it’s part of their agreement to let within the complex

The sonder service is very high - the rooms are very nice but it’s a lottery for location ie high floor vs ground floor. Our last room was ground floor backing on to elevator making one half of the suit unusable as the noise and vibration from the elevator was crazy.

Also from our stay with sonder they don’t clean the room (you can pay to have it cleaned) you leave trash in hall box outside the front door. The utilities room has all you need by means of towels, bin liners, washing detergent, washing up liquid etc
