We just took wine (6 in Barca & 6 in Ponta Delgada) but we could have easily taken spirits on as others did.

Oh that's a great report - thanks for posting.

I would love to do this - does the cruise go every year at the same time of year?

Yes, while they continue to bring the ship over to do Europe itineraries! I'd highly recommend a transatlantic, good value for money and lots of sea days!

Great report Mel..

I'm so pleased we changed our minds on this itinerary as the weather plays a big part for us.

Will get to NY one day

Yes you definitely made the right choice, nothing like 2014!

Been to CA a couple of times but never been to San Fran, Yosemite and many other places, looking forward to exploring more. We will go for almost 4 weeks again so lots of driving

2014 crossing was almost perfect, although I did really enjoy Ponta Delgada on this trip.

I enjoyed all the ports but definitely too cold for me, I'll not be doing another until it's like 2014 again.

Great report! We were on this cruise too, and stayed in the novotel, and bought wine in the Carrefour- probably crossed paths a few times!

We had a great time, hoping to book for 2018.

Can't believe I never noticed the scanners were before the shop, missed opportunity there! Blame it on it being our first cruise and being a bit overwhelmed but I will be more on the ball next time!
