Lots of time at akl doesn't bother us, it's actually more convenient as it's where we're staying 😉

Ohh actually, have I read somewhere that you can have Cali grill breakfast/brunch and then return on the evening for fireworks viewing? Have I made that up?

Didn't make it up, you can do that for all CG bookings including the brunch. Brunch is only on Sundays though, so you'd have to work that into your plans.

Now that the show is heavily projections, I'd rather be in the park itself but it does give you a different perspective if you already have an in-park viewing planned.

Ahh good point. I didn't think about that. We didn't have another viewing planned but I do have a question mark by seeing it after an adr we have at ohana on a separate night...

Don't worry, I feel the same! But I'm guessing by your full sweep of the AKL restaurants that we have similar dining tastes. Going back to my original reply, swap for Tiffins if you go anywhere else.

I was referred to a good section on the DIBB guide book about tips. 1 of the handy things I didn't realise is that you tip only on the pre tax figure not the total bill. Thanks Moderator it really helped.

You can do a search for my thread on the general trip planning or probably type tipping into top right hand corner and search under guidebook. I found it helpful as I've never had table service.
