I booked yesterday for next March and was £189 just for the cabana. They run out quickly tho she said there were only 2 left.

I agree with Barneyblue - there is certainly plenty to do without the dolphin swim. I'm pleased I did it once but wouldn't bother to do it again, however, I know that for some people it continues to be the highlight of their day however many times they have done it. As I said in the original post, our son's girlfriend, who has never been, is super excited about the dolphin swim so she and he will be doing it. For our daughter, swimming with the rays was the best part of her day (possibly her life!) which is why I was so pleased to be able to get her this extra experience for Christmas.
The trip to DC is actually everyone's Christmas gift from my husband and me. They are also foregoing birthday gifts for the next 12 months and are each having a birthday celebration out there. They really want to visit the lovely Disney restaurants, character meals etc which they wouldn't be able to afford to do so we are treating them out there in lieu of birthday gifts. I will have a small gift wrapped for each of them to open on their special day too - I'm trying to theme them to their day. DD's day will be BOG and dessert party in MK (I've got her the Disney Traditions Mrs Potts and Chip who were her favourites when she was little). DS will be one of the Japanese restaurants and cocktails at the Grand Floridian whilst listening to the orchestra (he is a jazz musician and I have got him a hard to get, CD of the band). DS's girlfriend will be dining with princesses for breakfast and dinner (I've got her a Rapunzel necklace - Rapunzel is her favourite). DD's partner will be the Star Wars Dessert Party - hoping it is still on (I've got him a Mickey being R2D2 t shirt as he is a massive Star Wars fan). DH is doing Spirit of the Swamp and BB KIngs and I'm doing breakfast at Crystal Palace and a fireworks cruise. We will all go to all the special meals so it will be like having six parties. It's still a year off and I am so excited!

Awww

They are such wonderful people who bring so much happiness to my life. other than ill health (and there has been a bit of that - in fact we had to postpone our 2014 trip to 2015) neither of our children (now 27 and 22) have given us any cause for worry - they have been amazing. We are very lucky and are so proud of them and all that they do. We always wanted to take them to WDW but couldn't afford it until they were 18 and 13, when we went for our once in a lifetime trip. Can't believe we are going for a third time next year! It is hard work saving but the memories are priceless and I feel we are incredibly lucky to be able to go at all
