Cabana Bay vs RPR - what am I misunderstanding?

We only booked a few weeks ago for this August and Portofino was much cheaper than hard rock. Sapphire and Cabana were very similar price too, usually Cabana cheaper.

There are usually good posts on here when there are good deals for 1/2 night Universal stays.

Completely agree. We stayed at Cabana bay for 9 nights in 2015 with one night in between for FOLP at RPR. We got our passes and went back to Cabana bay. It was a far nicer hotel and atmosphere in our opinion. I certainly wouldn't pay extra to stay there at all.

Hello. Welcome to the dibb.

Many people on here book one night to get FOLP x 2 days. We go end August and although park is generally quieter overall we are easily able to do all the rides we want and lots more than once. We just plot out those that don't have FOLP first.

At busier times of year you will pay more for the room and may not be able to do all the rides, just the main ones. But it will be a far smoother experience than doing it without FOLP!
