We were there two day at Christmas (so usually 9/10 on crowd calendar) and the wait for 7 Dwarves at 11am was 100 minutes!

We had high 9s this Easter, the headline rides had pretty much the same waits as that - average after 10am though, not just peak - maybe peaking 3.5hrs for 7Dwarfs (but it hadn't been open long..)

PP was 100 average and HM was just under an hour average. Peaks were obviously much higher. It was 90min plus for all the mountains anytime after 10am.

Even Small world had a 70min wait! (which is where the trouble lies)

The trouble with 9/10s is that ALL the rides are full, not just the headliners. (and the restaurants, and the restrooms, and the car parks and the transportation etc.)

Today (Sun) was exceptionally quiet! Walking in I swear its the quietest I have seen it, walk on Pirates on the Carribean, walk on Small World, Carousel, Dumbo, Philarmagic, Mad Hatter, Barnstormer, 20mins Thunder mountain, 30mins Peter Pan, Peco's instant serve.
Forecast was thunderstorms though, but weather was beautiful (little sprinkles every few hours) until 7 when it was absolutely torrencial rain and we had complete hell trying to get out 😩
It was our first park day, so we did wonder if it was a quiet year until reading this!

The pic show going into the park 1 hour after rope drop
Don't forget though that on lower crowd days they don't run rides at full capacity. The run fewer number of cars or run slower etc. So just because it was that long a wait doesn't mean an 8 day would be longer.

I presume it was a Saturday, I think every Saturday is busy in Magic Kingdom no matter what time of year you go.

As above. Considering that January is a 'quieter' period Disney will probably have less staff working and won't be running the rides at full capacity. Although I appreciate this isn't much consolation when you're there and having to wait hours to get on the rides.

The first image in front of the castle doesn't actually look that busy to me considering there's a show on.

Hope you had a great time!

Wow check the weather! We've been talking about a Jan visit but not sure we would enjoy the parks if it was cold... (we defo would but just love the hot sunny weather along with it).

I wouldn't call 28 degrees Celsius "cold". The UK rarely gets up to that temperature in the summer!

Admittedly, this weekend it looks like it'll not be as warm - it might only get up to 17 degs. But I still wouldn't quite call that cold.
