In search of some Stitch love!

I was quite shocked at how so many Dibbers have such strong feelings of dislike for Stitch's Great Escape! We love it, and I'm quite ashamed (knowing the level of feeling against it), to say it's one of our 'must do' rides! I'm nit happy it's dropped to seasonal opening, with the serious prospect of being closed. We can't be alone, please let's see some support for this ride

Sorry! I am a massive Stitch fan however I really disliked this 'ride'.

My exDH really it though and forced me to go on it several times on my last visit (scarily 10 years ago now!).

Sorry I cant lend support, to me its the worst attraction at magic kingdom. I'm still bitter that they replaced an outstanding, innovative truly different attraction with this watered down, badly thought out, incoherent rubbish.
I revisited it last august with my party of 2 Adults and 3 Children who were experiencing it for the first time.
Non of them liked it, no one got the story. The question 'what was that about, i don't get it' was the first question i got asked.

I far preferred Alien Encounter but I don't hate the Stitch ride. It's not a must do for us, but we will go in it if we have time after doing the other attractions.

I like Stitch but don't like the ride at all.

I neither loved the attraction nor hated it. However, my daughter is a big Stitch fan and so is very disappointed.

And, let's face it, it was a much better attraction than the terrifying, badly-located alien horror show that it replaced.

Talking of seasonal opening, do we know whether Stitch's Great Escape is ever going to open again? Have Disney announced when it will next open or have they quietly closed the ride for good?

I don't think any future dates have been announced.
It was only opened for 14 days over the busy Christmas period, I suspect its seen its last performance.
