Cool box water parks?
Thought I had read somewhere previously that certain size cool boxes not allowed but can't find where?
My husband and dad want to take snacks to volcano bay and the Disney water parks to save a bit of $ Told them I'd check with you lovelies before we make a plan! |

We took a full on coolbag on wheels to Disney parks in 2015 as there were 9 of us. Disney sizes are really generous. It's universal sizes that are smaller, and Seaworld and Busch (allegedly) don't allow any.
Sizes allowed are here https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/park-rules/?CMP=KNC-FY17_WDW_TRA_UK_BLP_DSA_Mix%7C-%7CG%7C4171801.UK.AM.01.07%7CDYNAMIC+SEARCH+ADS%7C Generic&ppc&gclid=CNye8LLdg9UCFY4K0wodoWsN6A

In all the years I have been I never had an issue with anything until one year at universal , think about 4 years ago , Security told me it was a security issue . After several conversations and watching people with much larger bags go past he told me it was the lining. We had to empty our food and cold drinks into carriers and leave cool bag till later!
Pleased to say ever since never had the same issue just that one instance x |

Also be careful with size of packets of food you try to take in. At Aquatica yesterday I had a large bag of crisps and they told me I couldn't take it in as it was too big. I could have taken lots of small bags but not one big one:

Cooler boxes not to exceed 16 ounces in water parks .
We bought a cheap polystyrene one in Target for a few dollars and filled it with frozen bottles of water and individual sized snacks |

We bring quite a big softsided one with a frame and wheels into the Disney ones with no problem. Aquatica was a definite no. We had no idea and ended up leaving it in the car and then using the picnic area off the carpark at lunchtime.
