wondering if anyone has been successful with a walk up to BOG for dinner?

We got one by asking at the information desk at front of MK who called the maitre'd at BOG. Not sure if we would have got one anyway or if the phone call helped.

I think you'd have to be exceptionally lucky.

My Auntie couldn't get in at BOG at the 180 day window last year. Nuts.

I managed to get one at about 166 days out in 2014.

I kept the tab open on my laptop and checked it constantly. Was also checking on my phone in work. I only got it because there was a cancellation!

I got one yesterday finally. I checked every day from 180 days. You may find availability while out there if you check mde as lots cancel when on holiday.

This is the one restaurant I have been unable to get a dinner reservation at this year. Tried on my booking day online bang on 11 a.m. and could not get a dinner reservation for any of my days.

I will keep trying but to be honest I don't expect to get one.

I've bee trying since we hit 180 mark a while back for a dinner reservation & have called Disney twice to see if they could help with a booking but still can't get one.
I've not giving up just yet ,I keep checking throughout the day & evening just in case there has been a cancellation & I might be lucky enough to get it.

Definitely keep trying to get an ADR right up to the day as that's your best bet. If you don't get anything, try walking up because you never know. We had a walk up between lunch and dinner and only waited 10 minutes. Not dinner hours so we didn't meet the Beast, but it was perfect for having a look at all the rooms (and eating a table full of cake). It can't hurt to ask- worst they can say is nope!

I got our breakfast and dinner reservations by signing up to Mousedining and Touring Plans Reservation Finder. They will alert you when a there is a cancellation for an ADR you want.

Opportunities like that are as rare as hens' teeth but very rarely it does happen. Doesn't hurt to ask.
