Mobile Which stateroom on fantasy? 5518 or 9654? Help please ☺

Looking for advice from experienced cruisers please. Currently have 5518 on hold which is one of the staterooms with 2 large portholes. Can also book 9654 family deluxe stateroom on deck 9 for approx same price.

Should we go for 2 porthole room on lower deck or would higher deck be better please?

This is for 7 night westbound Caribbean.

Thank you

I think 5518 is a larger than average stateroom

5518 every day of the week.
Like Helen says, it's a massive room, much bigger than the other choice you have.

Book it book it book it!

Thanks Helen and Bats. I went ahead and booked 5518.
Then I wondered whether on the 7 day cruise with a couple of sea days if we'd rather have a verandah!
Ended up booking one of the aft cabins on deck 10 with the outsize balcony for only £150 more.
So excited! And its 16 months to go!
But thank you for your help 😀

Which one did you book? Some of the aft ones are fairly slender with their balconies, so although it's longer than normal, it's actually normal width which makes it long and shady.

Whatever you've booked will be fab though.

Went for 10658. Sort of Lshaped stateroom with a balcony that wraps from aft over towards starboard.
Looks amazing and we're more than happy to put up with any noise from Cabanas for luxury of extra large balcony 😁
This will be our 2nd DCL cruise even though we've not been on our 1st one yet 😄
