Cruising non Disney
Hi, I have just come back from my first Disney Magic cruise and loved it.
We definitely have the cruise bug. However wanted to know how does Disney compare to Royal Caribbean or Celebrity etc. Disney doesn't offer as many routes in Europe but loved our experience. I have 2 girls aged 8 and 11. Thanks |

We sailed with RC last year and our children enjoyed the kids club on board. I personally think you can't compare Disney to them, Disney are in a league of their own! But, on the whole we would happily cruise with RC again. There is plenty to do on board and the ships are beautiful too.

Freedom of the Seas is coming to europe next year and it is massive ship and very good for your kids..
My two teenagers said they enjoyed that ship and plenty to do ... and they loved swimming pool and h20 water park which was more fun...they took me to h20 and i realised it was good laugh... also american hamburger place called Jimmy Rockett as it paid for it but they took them to dancing etc. I want to book for next year but i wait see it... Hi. I haven't been on Disney but have been on most of the other cruise lines and personally for kids (especially older kids) I think RCI is the market leader in family cruises.
If you are planning on cruising in the Med next year then as the previous poster mentioned Freedom of the Seas will be here and personally thats my favourite class of ship. Fantastic layout, lots of decent sized pools and beautiful ships. |
