1 Night Stay - Key West to Orlando
Where would you recommend for an overnight stay from Key West to Orlando on the East coast (already considered the West coast but covered a lot of that area before and tight for time). We will be staying in the Keys on the way down so would prefer somewhere North of there...perhaps between Miami and Orlando.
Thank you

Why not fly? That’s what we’re doing the other way. It’s approx £100 pp including checked luggage. Hire car plus fuel would be at least £100 and add hotel cost.

Are Hollywood or Vero Beaches a nicer stopover than the likes of Fort Lauderdale?
We did think about flying but for various reasons made the decision to drive. We fly into Miami and head straight down to Key Largo area then from there to Key West after a two night stay. We’ll then make our way from Key West to Orlando with an overnight stay on the East Coast some place...

We liked them better and Vero Beach had the advantage of a Disney hotel.

I can recommend the Hutchinson Shores Resort in Jensen Beach (we stayed there for one night last year on our way up from Miami to Orlando). Vero Beach was a bit out of our price range! We were very lucky and got upgraded to an ocean view room on the top floor, wish we had stayed longer, it was gorgeous and very relaxing!
