Mobile Disney hotel or other?

First time going to dlp in October, Disney hotel for 3 nights and tickets is starting at £1000
Soooo do I compromise and stay in a neighbourhood hotel, if so where's good?
Thanks

How many people? Does that include transport? Are you restricted to school holidays?

do you really want to do that? October half term is also when all French schools are on holiday, and its generally speaking one of DLP's busiest times of the year to visit (which is why its coming in so expensive for you).

Yes - avoid weekends and French/Spanish holidays whenever possible. Lots of Dibbers seem to go May half term.

There are lots of '2 nights free with 2 nights' offers which might suit you.

One thing to bear in mind is that most of the hotels have 2 double beds in a room.

If you wanted to drive, there's Davy Crockett Ranch, but you need a car to get from there to the park.

There are plenty of inexpensive offsite hotels nearby if onsite is too expensive - but bear in mind you would need tickets and (possibly) transport. Some of them are on the free shuttle route but there is also the RER train - it's 5 minutes and one stop to Val d'Europe where there are lots of hotels.

We have booked the explorers hotel. Have stayed previously and thought it was a great hotel. Plus decent breakfast included. Prices were pretty good for may half term via expedia.

I've stayed at explorers and b&b, which are both on the shuttle loop and are reasonably priced. I will be staying at Hipark this October half term for £195/4 nights for two people, which I was very happy about. I booked through last minute, but I've always found for explorers the cheapest price is their own website. I know october half term is busy, but I'm not letting it stop us!
