Hi. Not a great vehicle ref mileage but at least they had ready what you requested and paid for so credit to them there.
For the toll issue you underpaid on I would anticipate a $3.95 admin fee plus the toll. That will take anything between a week and two months to hit your credit card. Dont worry about a transponder in the car, or not as the case may be. SunPass works on camera plate recognition so your rear plate gets captured and they bill Avis who then bill you.

Not worried, now have decent amount of quarters in the car, and will use manual tolls. Was speaking to my son yesterday, who reminded me I always had a container with loads of quarters. Then I remembered gave them to my daughter couple of years ago, with instruction they come back, but never. Last two years on West Coast, put all the loose change in the charity envelopes. Will be keeping some quarters now for future visits to US

Avis now really doing my head in. Told clerk we needed free additional driver as per BA executive club, and showed her my BA rental coupon. She gave us the additional driver paperwork to sign, no fees mentioned and sent us on our way.
Now checking the fine print, charge of $13 per day applied . Unbelievable. Granted I should have checked detail before leaving. Learning plenty more this trip about car hire than I ever have before. Edited to add the 02087074460 number on BA car rental voucher gives a message, service unavailable.. Same message for 03444930762 service has been restricted or is unavailable. So I called Avis on 1-800-352-7900 and got a very helpful agent. She did not know about BA Exec club free additional driver (don't think any do) but asked me to send a copy of rental voucher, which I have done, and they will check case on 11th, 2 days after rental ends and refund the charges when they validate the offer. It says maximum is $65 plus tax. Wish I had called this number last week! Pretty poor that BA are not contactable on the numbers on the rental agreeement. We are on 3 Payg, but I also tried previously the 0344/0191 number son my sons contract phone.

So further email from Avis. $50 credit for not getting Tahoe. At first I did not think this covered the difference in rentals, but on the Avis slips it does, just.
I am also having problems with 3 getting connected to my family members in U.K., so BA numbers may be good. But managing to phone my son here in USA no problem on 3, this is why I never suspected problem with my phone.

Glad you are getting some support finally.
With regards to the issues with 3: Have you turned data roaming on (it needs to be on for "feel at home" to work)?

Yes my data roaming is on. Have not changed any phone settings. Do wonder if Payg is not so good as contract. I normally purchase an add on but never use it, so decided just to try Payg this trip.

I have always had PAYG and it has always worked. 3s "feel at home" doesnt work however if you have not bought an add-on. if you have not bought one then it just behaves as an ordinary mobile phone in US.

I have left data on and been using phone as normal. Don't think it's costing much on PAYG, but don't use it much. I am certainly averaging less than £1 per day.
three/support/roami...ed-states#payg The Dodger Grand Voyager seems much better than the Toyota Sienna, maybe only because we have the remote fob so can open doors, boot and lock and unlock with the fob. It has a fair few minor dents and scrapes on it though.

If it was me i would have got Avis to supply me the vehicle i had booked at the earliest opportunity ie the next day and got it if writing before keaving the airport. It wouldn't matter where they got it from just that they delivered to where i was staying.
Not sure if BA could do anything as the problem is with Avis not BA..
