Weather in January?

Hi all, 👋

First time west coast visitors and subject to the borders eventually opening, will be visiting from 5th January 🤞🏼

If any dibbers have visited at this time of year, would you be able to give an idea on usual weather and what to pack clothes wise please?

Many thanks in advance all ☺️

I am travelling to LA on the 7th January. I expect I will be packing light clothes, with a couple of jumpers / sweatshirts.

Last time I was in LA it was late December 2011. I honestly don’t remember much about the weather, so interested in other answers you get.

Depends on where you want to go. I have planned my usual Christmas new year break - I know I will see Snow, rain, sun, and mild temps. That is LA and Palm Springs end dec to Jan 4 . I will pack for all above

I’ve been in February a few times. It depends what bit you’re going to. Anaheim was in the low 70s, Palm Springs was high 80s+
