I switch mine on when I'm doing all the veg etc but it's not a necessity.

I've read so many things that say you shouldn't reheat food in the slow cooker so I've never done it, but lots of you have! Do you just put the cooked food in and switch it on, as you would from raw?

I tend to switch mine on while I am chopping and browning the meat.
The Pink Stuff paste in a pot is brilliant at cleaning baked on slow cooker pot. It brings them up gleaming with very little effort. I also use it on my Le Creuset pots and pans as they can be a nightmare to clean. It’s great stuff and cheap as chips at 99p.
