British Airways flights
We are booked to go in May next year. Our tickets say the flight from LGW to MCO leaves from the South Terminal however, I’ve just read elsewhere that all flights are going from the North Terminal at the moment. Does that mean by the time we travel they anticipate going from the South Terminal or is there an error on my ticket?
I have just booked meet and greet car parking and am now concerned that I have picked the wrong terminal.

I don't think anybody knows at the moment. However all the meet and greet companies allow you to change the vehicle type, the vehicle registration details, the times of drop off and also the terminal.
I would hang fire until things are clearer.

I'm fairly sure that our "cancelled" Sept flights had a terminal change due to a reduced schedule so I think a lot will depend on how much of a schedule they have back by next year IYKWIM. First time ever we are flying in & out of Heathrow as just couldn't get flights from Scotland that were in & out of same airport!

I wouldn't stress on it too much - the terminals are only a few minutes apart by the little shuttle thing. Whichever you arrive at, you'll be fine for your meet and greet.

BA normally fly from the South, they are temporarily flying from the North as Gatwick have closed South due to lack of flights - no sense keeping both open at the moment.
They may still be in the North if demand continues to be low next year but as Bozza says, the terminals are connected by a shuttle so it doesn't make a huge difference if you end up in the wrong one. |
