Gossip Girl 2021

Has anyone watched the re-boot?

Thoughts?

Hasn’t got the same allure for me as the original, but I guess is easy watching.

Only 6 episodes available at the moment which is a bit annoying too.

Only watched the first one but felt it was really weak compared to the original so didn’t bother watching any more.

I’ve watched 4 , it does get better but it’s not the original but I don’t think it claims to be either in the way it’s done .

i absolutely hated the first episode, but stuck with it because i enjoyed the original show

episode 2 bored me

but something in episode 3 clicked, and i started paying attention

by the end of episode 4 i was loving it!

i dont know what it was about it that hooked me in, but i think it certainly helped that jennifer lynch directed episodes 3&4

i'm now going to go back and rewatch eps 1&2, see if i enjoy them more now i've gotten into it...

Gossip girl is one of my all time favourite shows, I watched the re-boot and although I didn’t love it, I don’t hate it either and will stick with it for now.

And it's back again!

The first two episodes of season 2 have dropped, and it is GLORIOUS! The whole dinner party/farce in episode 2 was amazing
