4th - 18th here really really hope we get to go think with most double vaccinated by then we should be able to go.

We really need this as currently on holiday in a log cabin near Mapplethorpe and first few days have been great until last night and the 2 other log cabins have had 2 families of absolute wangbaskets so cutting it short by 2 days just packing up now.

So need the positivity of this to come through

We're booked for Nov 2nd for a fortnight, staying at Caribe Royale, (normally stay on site but got a cracking deal booking with Virgin Holidays, felt a bit more confident doing that then booking things separately, any hotel reviews welcome). Our grand daughter is going the day before with her mum and dad (staying at AoA) and has no idea we'll be there.
Currently having mixed feelings from one day to the next as to whether we'll be allowed to go, woke up feeling it won't be happening but then whilst out shopping bought t-shirts for the holiday 🤷.

Will any of you be buying tickets for the Christmas after hours event?

I’m tempted but not sure!

I asked my sister if she wanted to - she is thinking about it, just still feels risky.

Re the christmas after hours event, I will not be buying but this is because we paid in 2019 and it was a real let down. We may have been unfortunate but we thought a waste of money.

I’m in. Booked 27/11-18/12 with Aer Lingus direct from Manchester and car rental already booked with Andy. I’ve always wanted to go at this time of year to get the Christmas buzz without the Christmas crowds that we’ve encountered over the school holidays.

Gadgey Mick, not a troll? Oh yes he is, his Joan isn't tho! M&J, hope you're both very well

Afore crossing Matlacha bridge we're keen to read, and comply, with this...

... whilst on our way to Bokeelia, which has been awaiting our return since Apr 2020 when C-19 forced us home early, counted every one of those 33 lost days!

Monday 1st Nov is VS day, hope to be up and away in comfy UC reward seats, Man to Atl and onward to RSW with Delta. After a year of serious health issues, and with all things being equal, we're looking forward to our piece of paradise.

Honey, we're home...

We're just simple God fearing folk from God's county bonny lass.

All I hope for is that when people are desperately searching for good news to keep their dreams alive is for spiteful and mean spirited Dibbers to ignore the thread. Plenty of other threads to delight the pessimists.

Sincerely hoping that you're both tucking into Thanksgiving turkey around 150 miles south west of us. We'll be in Bob Evans on the 27 just over from Posner Park. Stay safe x

Mick & Joan

We've got back up holidays but our main one is November. We were due to go for 2 weeks last September, big disney blowout for likely the last time. We're still doing 14 day disney tickets but have a suite off property instead and a couple of nights at pop to get the express home. Due to go on the 27th and will be the first time we've done the Christmas season there. Weve also got upper class on the way home as it was a bargain when we booked. First time so really don't want to have to cancel. Thinking positive thoughts we'll get there this time!
