I haven’t looked since 2019, so there may be a better one in this new world ( ! ) but I used to start with this one. If you’re there over Thanksgiving I would be very surprised if there were any conventions to speak of!

Resort fees are the worst thing that ever happened to Las Vegas. Once upon a time you could stay on the Strip relatively cheaply, but not anymore. Off Strip or Downtown are your best options for more affordable stays now.

We tended to stay at the Orleans when prices got silly but next trip we are splitting between Harrahs and the Plaza

COVID has really cancelled or delayed a lot of the convention business in Vegas, but there is still something going on most weekends. The new football stadium for the Raiders is open now and draws a lot of people in. Holidays are busy, but really, the Strip seems pretty tame this weekend compared with a usual Halloween weekend.
