Wow thank you.

But surely there must be a catch? .

My dates are coming out at £575 MCO pick up and drop off (ideally I want to drop off at iDrive, but hopefully places will start to open up and i will b able to amend the booking). The cheapest Andy could quote me was £990!

I have read the T&C and it says free cancellation and free amendments. Can someone confirm that this is correct.

It really seems too good to be true in this current climate

Why is Dollar half the price of its nearest competitors? Is there something different?

Agreed. I asked a similar question (no relevant replies yet) It just seems too good to be true.

There are fluctuations and changes in car hire all the time, I got a fairly decent price with hertz off site (cheaper than dollar are offering for airport collection). It’s possible dollar want some more bookings, maybe they have had a delivery of cars and have excess supply, or maybe they are just one of the first to start dropping prices now international travel has resumed.

I can never remember between dollar or budget, I think it’s dollar, they tend to have older, well used cars (or at least did), and maybe have a bit of hard sale at the counter, but it’s worth the savings generally, and with most car hire company suppliers you can get free cancellation up to 48 hours before.
