Surprise for Raddison Blu at Manchester

We normally stay at the Raddison Blu at Manchester airport as we love the fact that we can walk from the hotel to the terminal in a few minutes, across a covered bridge. However, I started looking at it yesterday and was really surprised to see that their car parking package no longer includes parking at the airport, but at what appears to be a farm 5 miles away. The reviews on this parking venue appear to be very mixed, some saying the people there are lovely and very helpful, and others saying the place is full of potholes and their car came back scratched and damaged. Also, the shuttle bus, which is free admittedly, only seems to run every 30 mins - when we land at Manchester having flown overnight and we are cold, tired, and jetlagged, the last thing we want is to be waiting outside in the cold for a shuttle bus for half an hour!

Anyone else noticed this change? I've emailed Holiday Extras to ask them about this.

Are you booking direct with the hotel? I've just done a dummy booking and it is still showing as parking at the hotel.

Interesting. I was going through Holiday Extras, the company I normally use. I'll try directly with the hotel and see what happens - thank you!

Well, well, well! I did what you guys suggested and went directly to the hotel website. They do a Park, Dream & Fly package which includes one night in the hotel then parking there for the duration of your holiday - I joined the (free) rewards club and got a fantastic rate for this, it came in at Ł40 cheaper than the deal through Holiday Extras and we can park at the hotel! Plus, we don't pay until we check in, another bonus. So thank you so much for the help, I knew I could rely on Dibbers to sort this out for me!

Am I missing something or doing something wrong? I went to Radisson Blu's website directly and it's saying minimum stay is 2 nights for the Park, Dream & Fly offer 😣 I only want 2nd - 3rd May stay with 15 night's parking!

Not sure what you are seeing… but I can see prices for those dates.

1 night is fine.
