Park hopping, wdw transport best plan

Kids want animal kingdom as our last park day.
I'm thinking our second last day we will park hop (we rarely park hop usually, did HS to EP via boat on our second to last day in our previous trip)

I have high hopes for HS, EP, MK just for an hour or two each, to go on a ride in each or maybe get a snack.

Would the best plan be MK to EP via monorail then EP to HS via skyliner(or boat)
Or the other way round ?
HS to EP to MK.

I guess they are the same, I was just wondering about the ease to get a park pass.

I had considered booking EP as our first park as with cosmic rewind being slated as opening next summer I think maybe getting EP slots might be tricky ?
I am over thinking it.

With regards to time hopping time, we probably wouldn't even be starting till around 3 or later so after 2pm.

I would do HS > EP > MK as I'd want to finish in MK. HS is also the one most likely to close the earliest, unless this will fall on a MK Boo Bash night.

If you want to do Epcot first for the Guardians reservation, I would do EP > Boat (or Skyliner if you want an excuse to ride it) to HS > Bus to Contemporary (assuming the park to park bus isn't running) > Walk to MK. You could also do the reverse to finish in Epcot.

FWIW, only MK has hit park hopping capacity on Oct 1st. Will see what the Christmas peak does, but I doubt you'd have issues hopping to Epcot in August, even with a new ride open.
