Hilton Head Island - Getting Res at 7 Months?

How difficult is it to get a reservation at 7 months out for late August for a studio.

Can i rent the points?

Where do i find someone who owns and rents out?

Thanks

At 7 month late August it can be a struggle, you’d need an owner motivated to move quick, albeit late August is better than early August.
Are you talking about August 2020? If yes I’d get an owner to rent it for me at 11 months. Not many Brits hold Hilton Head, some might, but I think you’d be lucky to score points here. Could be wrong, but if not try David’s. You should get some there.
A quick glance down the points to rent board for Hilton Head on here shows no points up for rent for the last 2 years which supports my theory.
Not sure if you have been, but Hilton Head is wonderful.

We are booked for 8 nights at HHI in a 1 bed in April right over spring break. I was very stressed about getting it booked at 7 months during a very popular period but I managed to get it apart from the last night but I waitlisted and it came through quickly. 1 beds are particularly hard to get as there aren’t very many of them, same with studios as it’s mainly dedicated 2 beds and a few lock offs but no dedicated 1 beds or studios.

I just looked for this year and a 2 bed is fully available for the second half of August but only a block of 4 nights for a studio and only Friday and Saturday nights for a 1 bed but obviously we are now a few weeks into the 7 month window for that period so you may have been lucky at the opening of the 7 month window
