You're doing brilliantly. No need for another Twitter account though, just mute or block. The beauty of muting is you never see the tweets, but the person sending them to you never knows. They're literally shouting into an empty cave.

Well done to you. I honestly don't understand why some people who hide behind the anonymity feel that it is ok to behave in this manner. I know on here we often disagree, but it doesn't need to be personal, it's just an opinion and surely one of the reasons we like forums is to hear other opinions?

I am by no means an expert on Twitter, but I recently saw an interview with Monica Lewinsky and she was talking about feeling empowered now when people troll her on Twitter as she gets to put up a metaphorical middle finger and block them.

While you shouldn't have to do that, as let's face it, we should all be able to get along without being mean to each other, at least there is an option for you.
