Thanks for the photo of how they do the rolled icecream..I had been wondering. A foggy day on the coast is very atmospheric, but glad it was mainly sunny.

It was interesting to see. You can buy a kit to do it at home but at $50 we deemed it too expensive for a gadget

We were so lucky with the weather!

The rolled ice cream looks really clever. From the photo it looks like it was spread out on a large flat plate, I'm guessing it was re-frozen and then rolled? It looked pretty the other day too.

The mixture was quite liquidly and the plate was frozen! The lady running the place was lovely - very chatty!
