Natsynoo's Perfect Panamian Adventure: DCL EBPC Oct 2018 - Day 8 At Sea
A much more respectable wake up time today – 8.30am! We laid in bed until 9.15am before getting up, because this morning we were heading to Palo for our Brunch reservation!
IMG_1388 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr IMG_1385 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr We had another phenomenal meal in here, starting of course with the savoury buffet and a Mimosa IMG_1381 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr IMG_1375 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr IMG_1371 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr IMG_1372 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr IMG_1370 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr We then enjoyed the mozzarella stuffed risotto balls (today’s Chef’s specials) – sorry I can’t find the picture of these. Matt ordered the (giant) Mickey Waffle 20181024_153842 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr I had the pancakes – which have ruined me for life, because they were the most delicious, fluffiest pancakes I’ve ever had IMG_1376 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr We each had a chicken parmigiana IMG_1378 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr Claudius (our Server) was on a mission to make us gain 2lb so he then brought us over a breaded egg served in a cheese sauce IMG_1377 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr And after our dessert buffet helpings IMG_1379 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr 20181024_161229 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr …he felt that we still needed a chocolate lava cake on top of that! IMG_1382 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr We were suitably full by the end and I think we gained more than 2lb! And then Claudius brought a special surprise over for Matt. IMG_1383 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr IMG_1384 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr The Brunch was amazing and well worth the $100 (including tip). After the Brunch, we headed down to Senses Spa because my face had become really, really dry, and none of the lotions I had brought in were cutting the mustard, so I booked in for a mini facial later that day to help the process. We were sat by the pool by 12.15pm just in time for the ice sculpting demo, which was amazing as normal. The artist created an angel fish. IMG_1396 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr Later that afternoon, we experienced the craziest rain storm ever – but 20 minutes later, it was glorious again! At 4.30pm, I left Matt in the sun, and headed down for my mini facial ($69.62) before heading in to get ready for the evening. IMG_1410 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr IMG_1408 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr 20181024_235846_Fotor by Natalie Pope, on Flickr 20181024_235922_Fotor by Natalie Pope, on Flickr Tonight was going to be an odd one because we were skipping showtime. It was John Charles and we are just ‘over him’ so from our stateroom we went to Azure for tonight’s music trivia, based around the 70s. Our score was shameful, just 9/40. Our soft drinks tonight again came to $4.31. Tonight’s dinner was at Triton’s. IMG_1398 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr IMG_1402 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr Matt started with the Serrano Ham 20181025_014930 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr I had the shrimp with feta and tomato – this was yummy! IMG_1400 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr I also had the cheese soufflé IMG_1399 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr Matt had the lemon and lime chicken for his entrée 20181025_021152 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr I had the Beef Tenderloin with Lobster Tail with a jacket potato (I was craving one!) IMG_1401 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr For dessert, we both had the Crumble IMG_1403 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr Matt also had the Triple Chocolate Terrine 20181025_023613 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr We saw that Mickey & Daisy didn’t have a long wait in the Atrium, so went to visit them, before going to watch Wonder Quest in Azure. 20181025_031541_Fotor by Natalie Pope, on Flickr 20181025_030847_Fotor by Natalie Pope, on Flickr We didn’t know what to expect from Wonder Quest, so we opted to watch rather than participate. It was incredibly funny, culminating in one of the funniest moments of the cruise – click on the below image to take you to Flickr to see the video. IMG_1413 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr We then stayed on to watch Flight Crew (the jump rope group) after, before heading to bed at 11.30pm. IMG_1414 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr |

We love WonderQuest and have done it a few times now. Top tip is always to make sure you have a glam bra and not some dirty grey one!
