Mobile Riviera Details

Just in case anyone is interested, Riviera is now showing on the DVC website so you can see the room categories and floor plans, and some dining information. It’s not showing points needed yet though.

It seems an odd decision to me not to have a 'real' bed in the tower studio. I don't think I could be bothered putting it away every day. I know they did some research on this so I'm not sure if this is what other's wanted.
The floor plan for the deluxe studio also appears stretched. If not, the bed is very long and thin.

I know they say the Points will be less for the tower studio but my goodness it's a broom cupboard!

Also no bath. That would take both of us right out of the equation. Not that it bothers us as we would never stay there anyhow.

On the plus side they have done a lot ref disabilities including hearing loss so I commend them for that.

Those dollar amounts look really high, but I don't really know how they compare to anywhere else at that time of year!

I feel the same about the lack of bath. If I was staying in a room like that it would be because I was on a very tight budget!

Can non-DVC members access the Riviera information on this site? I'm intrigued by it all!

Pricewise it looks somewhere between a moderate(so more than Caribbean Beach Resort) and a Deluxe(less than Poly).

My goodness, those tower studios are tiny! Plus, I don't like the idea of the pull down as the main bed. I wonder how they'll stand up to constant use?

The deluxe studio looks good though and sleeps 5. That might be an option for us going forward, depending on the cost of course (talking about renting points rather than buying). I wonder if the murphy bed is the full size one like at the Poly and GF, or the smaller one like at POR and CBR?
