How sad that people have liked a post that says you smack your dog 😢, please please find another way to train your dog not to do things, smacking is totally learning them the wrong way, what if they snapped at someone after they were smacked doesn’t bear thinking about(

Totally agree , please don’t smack or hit a dog .
Praise positive but ignore/prevent negative.
Dogs don’t feel guilty. That’s fear they feel .

Also get dog checked if it’s regularly eating poop as could be a deficiency etc as that’s not really normal.

Yep my dog licks the plates. It gets washed afterwards so don't see a problem. Never been ill form it but I don't do it when we have guests though in case they don't like it.

Dog pretends to sleep when we eat and does not watch/pine for food but will have the left overs if offered.
