Only march and its been a rubbish year so far

Things started off well with getting married at the end of January but since then its been absolute rubbish.

My best friend and "greek mama" died 6 days after we got married.

Found out when we got back here that my favorite cat had died on our wedding day, they just kept it quiet so not to upset us.

My gran got taken to hospital the day we left the uk-she had pneumonia and now a gall bladder infection. She's just not getting better.

A few days ago my 29 year old cousin has been diagnosed with lung cancer.

This morning i got a message my auntie has a brain tumour.

What else is going to go wrong this year? 😢😢😢😬😬😬

OP. What can one say, so sad and such a dreadful time. But life has to go on and I suspect none of your dear friends or relatives would wish anything to impact on your wellbeing
The very fact you weren't told about certain issues shows the love that others hold for you and that must be what you focus on.
Keep positive, think of the future with your Husband and what life has in store for you. Every day is an adventure and another step on lifes journey.

Oh my goodness-that’s a lot to happen in a short space of time.

Try to focus on your new adventures with your dh.
I know that sounds kind of crass-but it’s really true.
Life has many ups & downs...
We never know what’s happening next & it’s often just as well.

Thats a lot to deal with. Try to take each thing o step at a time. All pf this is really out of your control, you can be supportive to those involved and you will find strength together. At times like these you can get through. My DD was diagnosed with a brain tumour nearly 2 years ago, and although it is an uphill struggle dealing with things emotionally you do find the strength to deal with it. Go easy on yourself. Maybe try to get some counselling, which can help you deal with situations. I had fantastic support with counsellor through work who made me see that worrying doesnt actually change anything, and to use energy on what you can change/do to help. X
