Could this be key cloning?

Interesting post, I keep my car keys in a tin in the kitchen but have just googled faraday pouch for when i am out and about but by using a faraday does it mean that I would need to get my key out to get in the car? I normally leave it in my bag as the car is a push button start

Yes you would. They are a bit of a pain but less than losing your car!

My dh has an M5 competition so has one on! It went into BMW the other week and we got a phone call saying they couldn't start it! He had forgotten to tell them about it!
