Brass Tap and Moonrise both sound like my kinda place (especially with the delicious Lavendar Lemonade and Mimosa!). Millers looks really good as well, I definitely need to eat offsite in Orlando on a future trip

Thank you. Yes Panera is a good bet. I don’t know what we were thinking

All of this food looks amazing, apart from the Brussels Sprouts from Denny's and the rank food court food. I usually play it safe with a Subway. Thank god for yumminess from Panera Bread though!
I'm glad you finally got a good Sex On The Beach and that Tito's Lemonade is firmly on the list for this year. I'm so glad we're heading back to Florida so we can visit Millers, we missed it last year!
Ha ha.

I’m leaving it a week before I get back on the scales.
The scone was very delicious. And not overly sweet, more warm spice.
I think the cocktails at Outback and Longhorn are better than Millers tbh

Ooh yes do try the scone, . That lemonade was very zingy.. quite sharp but yummy.

I have to agree about outlet food court offerings being not the best. I find them less and less appealing.

The food at Millers all looks fine... and a large jug of Tito's - yum! How nice to be treated. Safe travels home
Moonrise was very good.. small menu but all well cooked. That village is the north end of Palm coast so about 15 minutes drive from us.. all very doable by Uber or the like
So disappointed by the lunch. I should have stuck it out for 5Guys.

Weren’t they great drinks. Ooh yes the cheese curds... super gooey yumness ( new word)

Great to see some favourite dishes but the new places looked lovely too. Mmmmm...

Glad your home safely. Hope the jetlag isn't too bad.

They were great spots. It’s nice to find some independent places . The passion fruit mimosa was so refreshing and less sharp than orange. Still have to try the pineapple one ... will need to go back for that

Perkins, Lake Buena Vista

Ah the joy of Perkins, the sadness of travel day and the cruelty that I could see the Disney sign at the Crossroads

No messing about here. Straight in to their burger and pie combo menu $9.99 !
Just don’t read the calories

I chose breakfast burger and cherry pie

No words required

Andy had the french dip

It was all very nice . A suitable final meal

Virgin Atlantic. MCO-LGW

Ah these return flights, it’s just never as good as arriving is it.

Started off ok with Amarula

We didn’t get a menu so I went with chicken ... which was a curry

No salad with this meal. There was a roll and crackers with cheese and cheese spread

The chicken curry was nice , the rice was ok. I wasn’t keen on the soggy spinach

Dessert was a mousse pot. I found it too sweet but that’s possibly because of the curry as it’s not a combo I would usually have

Breakfast.. well this remains a disappointment.
A chewy pain au chocolate , rock solid melon and a blueberry yoghurt.

They did offer lots of water during the flight and tea and coffee after the meals.

And that’s a wrap
And now for the scales
Thanks for reading

Burger & Pie menu at Perkins! Why haven't I seen this before? What an outstanding combination, both of your meals look delicious. Did Andy not have pie?

Disappointing plane food - the breakfasts are always particularly bad for some unknown reason. At least your curry was edible and they kept you hydrated. It's probably as good as could be expected on a return flight!

Great food report as always Amanda, thank you for sharing - I'll look forward to the main trippie
