DAY 4 Blizzard Beach

Carole and Ian are not doing Blizzard Beach with us today I think it’s a hair thing with my sister
We have breakfast in our room today cereal and microwavable waffles Sunday today and don’t know what the crowds will be like at Blizzard Beach We head off again in a Taxi and arrive just as they are opening feel a bit lost today without my big sister showing me the ropes. We get changed and head straight for Melt away bay and place our towels and bag on sun beds and head off to explore.

We try the chair lifts first Ted hates this he sits there with his eyes closed. It bring back memories of a skiing trip I went on to Italy with the school all those years ago only different the heat. At the top they drag me on Team Boat Springs We all sit in a large blue paddling pool and start to slide down a long plastic chute. I was fine until the speed increased and our paddling pool started to travel along the walls, I was so scared I was convinced we were going to fall off the edge all the rest of the family could do to reassure me was to laugh uncontrollably I declined the photo at the end I must of looked like a ghost.

Next Ted and Todd tried out summit plummet both said they enjoyed it but looked a bit pale to me at the bottom and Ted pass up on a second go LOL Ted got friction burns from his shorts. Zak went on slusher gusher. I had read in the map guide that this attraction may be too intense for children plus he is only 6 and only just 48” I stood at the bottom trembling waiting for my baby of the family to come down with tears in my eyes. He comes rushing down As he finally comes to a stop he was laughing so loud then shouts at the top of his voice so the whole park heard “Mom I’ve got the biggest wedgies in the world LOL this had to be Zaks favourite ride.

Since I was looking paler than anybody else it was decided by the rest of the family to take Mom on the Cross Country Creek for a well needed relax and some TLC The boys grab me a tube and while holding it I very lady like sit my not so small bottom into the tube I didn’t feel at all safe so before I was set adrift I asked Ted to help me back off the tube He just tipped me up AND not so lady like I was fell out on to the steps resulting in 2 matching grazes on both knees Zaks waterproof plaster came in handy that day We finally all set off to float round the creek what a great way to travel

Dinner time by now we eat foot long hot dogs and retreat to our sun beds Todd takes Zak back round the park while me and Ted sit and soak up the sun with the waves lapping at our feet. We need one of these parks in the UK only with the weather to match.

After a great day we head back to our hotel Todd and Zak spend the evening in the pool we all go to bed that night red, brown and wrinkly Sweet dreams of MGM Studios tomorrow.

Anita, LOL it's not very ladylike getting on them floaties is it?

I didn't  like that chair lift to Summit Plummit either and I was getting all ratty with Ellen cos she was fidgeting around!!!

LOL Anita, those tubes are not made for our lady like bums are they? . BB is our favourite water park though, esp the family raft ride.

Swimming in the evening as well as Blizzard Beach all day?  I'm surprised you didn't all develop gills  .
