Day Nine

Day 9. Tuesday 1st August.

No burgers today. We had a car hired for the day today and found ourselves at Florida Mall. I did consider going to Five Guys but the allure of Charley's Cheesestakes won through. In part because I was tempted by them when at Philly but time was a little tight.

Day Ten - Bonus Feature

Day 10. Wednesday 2nd August.

Ok, so this one doesn't count as I didn't eat it - my OH did. It was from Sci-Fi Dine-In at Hollywood Studios. Our daughter wanted to try this and despite our best judgements we agreed. Wish we hadn't. Atmosphere wasn't up to much, and neither was the service. And what is the point of eating if you can't see the food. Shakes were good however.

Classic American Burger. $17.50 (used TS credit)
Again a cheese and bacon burger but with caramelised onion. Her words: 'rubbish.' Clearly she was not impressed. There was more but will leave it at that.

Rating 2/10

Day Ten

Day 10. Wednesday 2nd August.
Burger number 10.

D-Luxe Burger, Disney Springs. I am sure you will agree that any self-respecting burger report at Disney would have to see one of the newest offerings make an appearance. This was my first time here and I am sure I will return.

Classic Cheeseburger. $9.99 (included on QS but fries were a snack credit.)
I decided to make my first foray into D-Luxe burger something fairly straight forward so I could establish a baseline and make judgements from there. I have to say I was impressed. The burger itself was very fresh and tasty with the dressings complementing it well. The atmosphere was good and the little extras were nice. Just a pity about the extra for the fries. If Wolfgang Puck Express can offer a meal on QS that sells for $20 I am sure others can offer something of similar value. No fries just seems a little tight.

Rating 8/10

I shall return.

Loving the burger report!

Wow can't believe the number of flights you had to get to Orlando. I worked it out as 7 flights? That is one mammoth journey. I'd be losing the will to live 😂🙈

Sorry for the delay in responding to everybody.

Certainly enjoying writing up the mini reviews when I get s moment to write them. OH and daughter are not participating but happy to indulge me.

Route was a little crazy. Only got TPs for the DUB/LHR/BIS/PHL/MCO/MIS/LHR/DUB and should be 440TPs so. Lot a huge amount.

Apparently they do!

I wasn't too bad so happy with it but knew we had Sanna later that day as well.

As you will see I didn't... not on that occasion in any case.

6 flights out but only 4 on the return. Did do 12 flights in one trip before although not to Florida and not with family in tow.

Day Eleven

Day 11. Thursday 3rd August.

No burgers today. We had breakfast booked at Sanna which was a first for us. It was fine but always hard to find anything that matches up to Crystal Palace. We then had a late lunch at Skipper Canteen. This was really good and one of the best meals so far. Nice food and atmosphere. Daughter was being picky and they were very accommodating.

Glad you enjoyed Skippers. We liked it, were unsure if we would.

Really enjoying reading your report! Glad to see you rate Crystal Palace as it's on our list for next May. First time eating there.
