Yes that's right it's now in the T & C that you can't use the welcome reward and birthday reward in one go. However, we each had a card and so by splitting the bill at the restaurant (Rainforest and T Rex both happy to do this) we used up both welcome rewards on first visit ($50) and both birthday rewards on second visit ($50).

The other thing about the Landry card is that the birthday reward is annual so if you go around the same time every year then you have $25 to spend. The card is essentially free so worth it for priority seating alone but you don’t need to either visit more than once to get use of both the welcome and birthday reward.

Thanks for sharing. $100 a day for 4 is great. So many people on here are worried re spends. With a bit of knowledge about deals and coupons, groupons etc eating out doesn’t have to be expensive.

Thank you, we are going at xmas and will be sticking to $100 a day fir 2 a2 teens too, breakfast in rooms ( not big breakfast eaters) lunch will be something like cinnamon bun in park, then dinner will be things like the food cour in cabana bay, taco bells, sweet tomatoes. We will stick to water with meals, as will have refillable cups in cabana bay, and not big drinkers. We go every other year, so don’t feel the need for goodies from the parks, nor big shoppers.
