My kids kept telling me to watch Stranger Things but I wasn't convinced but one day I was bored ... totally hooked! Binge watched the two series and now can't wait til the third!

I wouldn't call it sci-fi as such, I dont enjoy sci fi at all, but like supernatural, thrillers, ghost, spooky, (but not horror )conspiracy and murder mysteries. The closest sci fi I get to is men in black and independence day. I understand why you said sci fi, but I think its a lit more "real" than that.(as it can be ha ha!)

I didn't know it was back so soon, really can't wait! Will have a sofa day binge on the first two seasons again to get in the mood!

It's also brilliant fun. I was dragged to HHN last October by the Kiddlywinks (sounds painful) and never laughed so much in ages.

As others have said...80s retro,ET, supernatural, conspiracy, and based mainly from childrens (tweens/teens)perspectives, but not childish... and really compelling viewing.

very hard to describe as its all about watching how the plot unfolds.

We’re waiting for Season 3 too.

Also it has one of my favourite recent quotes (child problem solving

Can’t wait for season 3 but as it’s been so long since I watched one and two I might need to binge watch them again before July 4th!
