Mobile Seat configuration VA - family of 3/4

Hi everyone
We are hoping to be travelling in premium economy with Virgin Atlantic where the seat configuration from Mcr is 2-4-2.

We are a family of 4-2 adults, 1 nearly 3 year old (by then) & a 1 year old. We’ll have 3 seats

If you had to pick which would you go for?

Leaning towards a 2 and a 1 across the aisle...

I would do the same as you've suggested then you're not reaching back or forward all the time asking your other half for help much easier to lean across the aisle especially if you need to pass the baby over

We did 2 and 1 in PE with a 2 1/2 y old and I wished that we had chosen three seats together. If you can get the bulkhead seats for the baby then I think I would go for 3 across. The rows are staggered, so it isn't an easy pass across the aisle, at least on the LGW to MCO route.
