How has this happened?

I started packing 2 months ago, but right now, I have 2 empty suitcases and stuff all over the spare bed.

36 hours until the taxi arrives to whisk us away to Heathrow and I feel sick with anxiety.

TBH it probably wasn't the best idea to have my mum staying all last week (needing to use the spare bed) but she is more important than suitcases.

OK, I'm going to cook tea and then take a deep breath and try and sort it all out.

yep, me too, I don't even have the suitcases open until the night before we travel. OP you have loads of time .

That is why I pack the day before or even on the day. Otherwise I would be wasting my time packing and unpacking and repacking for weeks on end.

This trip I thought I’d be organised and start packing early as I’m normally a night before person.

It took me 3 days to pack 😱 I had stuff everywhere and it felt so unorganised.

Back to the night before for me!

No I couldn't leave it till the last minute to pack I'd never sleep. I like to pack a few days before we go.
