Yes that's what I thought, although I am guilty of asking re middle name on ESTA!

Choice is up to the person. Bring it home and risk it or just not bother

We were at Galaxy’s Edge for opening and lots of people were saying in the queue about not being able to bring the bottles back. Obviously I have seen the update now, but hadn’t at the time. We just drank the sprite, put the lid in one case and the empty bottle in the other. No problem at all. BA also allowed my son to carry his lightsaber on to the aircraft and put it in the overhead locker, there was no issue at all, we had his droid in a backpack too.

Great news about the Droid, as we will be bringing back one of those. 👍🏻 Can I ask did you buy one of the droid bags or just used your own backpack.

Hi lorrie we just used an ordinary backpack. DS wanted one of the official ones, but we thought they were just too expensive for what they were.

Just to let you know, we’ve just been to Disneyland and I have bought all three bottles back with me, full with the lids on. Also had a TSA note in the bag advising we had been inspected.

Hadn’t seen anything about this so was unaware!

Just brought 3 droids back with BA in the boxes you get from the park. The droid backpack is 50 dollars which I agree is expensive. We just carried them on to the plane as well as our normal ruck sacks and put them in the over head locker. On the LGW-GLA flight we put them under the seat as the lockers were full.
