Do you talk to your hairdresser
Random one- Do you talk to your hairdresser or do you sit in silence, read, look at your phone?
I always chat away but am just suprised that i seem to be in the minority in my hairdressers

My hairdresser and I talk non-stop about anything and everything! I'm sure she knows me better than some of my family members!

No. My stylist is the son of the owner, he’s super talented and a lovely lad, but he’s about 25 and we have little in common. We agreed early on that I’m not really the chatty type, and we are both comfortable with him just getting on with his job. Of course we do talk about the style I want etc, but no mindless chat.

Our hairdresser comes to the house, and as she is as big a Disney geek as me, we always chat.
Having said that, if you don't want to talk, this is a good option - When asked 'how would you like your hair cut?' You answer 'In silence, please'

I knew my Barber before he was a barber, so we go way back and also share the same friendship group, so yes.

I don't, but always friendly hellos and byes...
I reason is i want to be in there and out as quick as possible and the second reason is the lads in the barbers don't really speak good English, good hair cut for £7 though.

I've been going to my hairdresser for over 10 years and we chat non-stop. There will also be times when everyone in the salon is chatting together; usually about the younger stylists dating shenanigans.
My dad goes to a salon that has a Polish barber as she doesn't speak much English but cuts his hair well. He hates small talk and checks through the window that the Polish lady is there before he goes in |
