Samsung Galaxy wont download

I have a Samsung Galaxy 2 phone and whenever someone texts me over a photo, it wont download. It says its downloading but it never does. Does anyone know why this is? I've missed some really important pics, especially today as it was a 4d pic of my neice who is due soon

I can't help you but I have problems with mine downloading emails! Every now and then I have to switch it off and then on again and it then realises it has emails to download.

Can you send MMS and what network is it on?

I just tried sending DH an mms and that worked. I'm with orange.

Have a look at this link posts 9, 10 and 11.

If its an orange phone (i.e orange supplied it) I would expect the APN/MMS settings to be correct if it was SIM free then you may need to enter them, but try whats suggested in post 11 once you have checked the APN/MMS settings.

Settings for orange uk.

Name = Orange MMS
APN = orangemms
Proxy = 192.168.224.010
Port = 8080
Username = Orange
Password = Multimedia
Server = Leave blank
MMSC = mms.orange
MMS proxy = 192.168.224.010
MMS port = 8080
MMS protocol = WAP 2.0
MCC = 234
MNC = 33
APN type = mms

The other thing you can try is download an app called Tweakker (2 k's) from the play store/android market, then you run it, choose UK then choose orange and it configures all your settings for orange, I have used it on a few phones that were having problems with internet and mms settings.

Make sure you have your 3g/data packet activated , that happened with mine , went back and forth weeks with vodafone till I accidently discovered as I only used wifi that you need data pack activated to send / receive photos .
