Hi Amy,

How exciting for Scott and yourself! I can imagine how nail biting it is watching for you.

Shame about your TOM timing, yes stress can stop you losing weight, although I do't know why - might be that your brain sends a message to your body that sends it into panic mode and panic mode requires your body to slow down and retain calories for unknown times ahead? Prolly a much more scientific reason than that as I really don't have a clue and just made that up!

Is that the UK version of BL you are watching? Because I'm sure it was Victoria that went on the US one. If its the UK one, not a clue as I don't watch it although I did flip onto it one day and thought 'gosh this lot have a lot to lose, must be early days' and was then shocked to see if was so far in compared to the weight loss of the US one. Although to be fair I have no idea how they were when they started so they have probably lost a lot anyway. Actually, the one I flipped onto did have men in it too, so which version are ou watching, I'm confused (doesn't take much these days! )

I did my marathon again. Not too bad as I've done it every week now for a while, still a bit disspointed in myself for not doing the running, but hey ho will get into it at some point. My knees were on fire after I'd finished it today, i was in agony for a bit, luckily my kind hubby did tea for us while I recoved and so I just cleaned all the kitchen to say thanks.
I cannot believe its Sunday night already, where on earth did my weekend go?! Seriously someone stole it.

I've had too many carbs today. My cupboards are a tad bare so I've had more bread than I would normally, that and the fact I love bread, we are out of spread though and have been all day so small mercies I suppose!

I don't know if its just me this happens to or everyone, but why does all my make up run out at the same time? I need foundation, concealer, powder, lippy, mascara, eye brow pencil and gloss - theres a fortune there! Alex will go spare. oooo I'm a poet and I didn't know it.

Food:
B: shake and 2 slices of toast
L: toasted ham sandwich. Orange jubbly
D: regge regge chicken with lettuce and peppers. (I LOVE those Regge regge chicken things). 2 x Strawberry Jubblies.

Exercise:

Marathon (2 hours 30 mins - am getting slower! )

Have a good week everyone.

Hey Kel, I've had too much bread today too. I have bread that is only 58 cals a slice and as I have it with philli or dry I don't feel it's too bad and end up going crazy.
Am going to have to cut it out. Will do omelette for breakfast I think. Not going to bother with RC bars or hot chocolate - all just added calories and temptation. Will do low carb, with her meals and soups for support as they are delicious, but this eating carbs is not working for me at all. Just can't stop nibbling. Doesn't help that I overdid it yesterday with gardening and cannot bend. Have done some press ups. Managed 10 without stopping and have done lots of arm weights.

My makeup runs out at the same time and costs a fortune, but I justify it by buying two of a certain brand to get a free gift. I use a lot of Estee Lauder, so bought foundation, powder and concealor and got mascara, eye liner, makeup bag, eye makeup remover and a small perfume for free!

I have Sunday nights. Love my weekends. We get married exactly two months today - 10th June! Kicking exercise into gear from tomorrow. Will have to push through the pain
Going to watch a film later - Let Me In, vampire film. Hope it's good.

Well done on exercise Kel. Heard times get slower before faster sometimes. Not sure where, but I've heard it!

Hello everyone, nu==just a quick post as am on the netbook and it's trickier to type! Will do a longer post tomorrow.

Kel, sorry to hear you're not a summer lover! As you can tell I really am!

Hope you all had a great weekend

Had a lovely afternoon at the beach with my twinnies and dinner at Harvester with dad and family. Had what I said, no pudding, but probably more potato in my salad than I planned as I was stuck in a corner of our table so sister's bf got the food for me. Just had a jubbly...mmmm...

Just finished a bit more study so I'm ready to really absorb it tomorrow, I'm definitely getting there!

Matt's sat here looking at OKW, where we're booked into in WDW, really happy!

Amy, you're watching season 11 BL online, it's the one showing in USA now, we're on season 10 here...Victoria definitely went and she deserved to tbh, it should've been falling off her, she could have been in final 4 easy had she worked hard enough! Sam is astonishing, he's still losing big despite being skinny now, and Koli, after eating all that! Wowzers!

Kel, I weighed this morning and had actually lost 1lb...no nuts yesterday as they were all gone...so I think we found my culprit! However, I reackon tomorrow I'll STS as I had quite a big dinner at Harvester

Right off to spend some time with hubbyness!

Catch ya tomorrow xxx

Looks like I'm going first this morning... no surprise that I STS...looks like I worked out the problem by the end of the week but my large (but sensible) meal yesterday ruined that! Feeling full still this morning but popped in my Weetabix for brain power...about to crack on with the final study day.

Hope the rest of you post some great results...we all know Kim will!

Rach, well done on your loss before...you're sitting around 10st, fluctuating every now and then and that's just fine if you're not trying to lose weight!

Amy, like you said, combination of factors there, hopefully you'll lose that quickly this week!

Just checking in today's food...had weetabix for breakfast (3), cup a soup & crisps (2.5) for lunch (wanted a snackier lunch, not a sandwich/salad), and got 2 crispbakes + sweetcorn for dinner (8)...will just have an ice lolly for pudding

Right, done the revision and testing bit, just going through past papers now, getting very bored, this time tomorrow it'll be all over though! and then back to work

Hi everyone!

I lost 3lbs Not bad eh?! I say this every week but exercise is so the key for me and I've done a lot this week. That takes me to 8stone 10lbs.

I have 6 weeks to the Honeymoon and would like to be 8 stone which MUST make me at the most a 12 and finally into those blummin Next jeans. LOL. I measured them the other day by the way against some size 12 NL jeans and they were quite a bit smaller so I'm sure they are more a 10 than a 12. Either way, once I'm in them I'll be good.

Nat - sorry about STS, but at least you suspect the nutty culprit. I don't think you'd ever get a good Monday reading with a big meal Sunday anyway and no time to work it off so its was to be expected and hopefully like you said now thats it for a while for events and dos. Besides this week you have the running come Wed!
Whats the plan then after that for the training? I'm deffo going running on Friday afternoon, come wind rain or shine. I told my manager today I'm having the afternoon off so not to call me and we are heading out. You probably saw my friend ask me the other day if I wanted to join her in a marathon? Anyway its October so I said no, as I'm hoping to be cookin' by then but would still like to run to try and get lean. Glad your revision is going ok and good luck for tomorrow!

Amy - 0.5lbs on is a bummer. It could well be that you ate late. Peanuts are nice and fine on our diets but I would try to never have them after about 4pm as they are very fattening and definaltey not on a Sunday night before weigh in In fact I try to stick to that rule generally for carbs and it seems to work. I am having more carbs in a morning now, I have toast for breakfast, but no more as they day goes on. Congratulations to Scott very exciting, enjoy your celebrations!

Rach - how weird is your weight going up and down like that?! Still, you are pretty small now anyway so I wouldn't worry about it. Do you want to lose anymore or are you happy as you are now? Your day sounds lovely yesterday. Today was OK here but its pouring down now and windy too, thats summer over I reckon!

Liz - hope you are ok and having a nice day, although I say that and I bet when I press 'submit reply' I find you've posted! lol

Work was ok today, I'm not a Monday fan but I was quite pleased today because it was the first review of my database that I created. You may remember a few weeks back I worked on that database project and got it approved? well for the last few weeks its been with the programmers who have been building it for me and today was the first stage viewing. Its turning out better than I hoped and I'm well chuffed at how its going and how close to the original design they are making it. Its got a bit to go yet but its looking good and I'm pleased. If I manage to get this up and running it will be used by all the staff in my area, about 7000 and then the idea is to roll it out wider so I'll be dead chuffed if that happens. I'm getting ahead of myself here but I love it when a plan comes together.
Its funny you know cause I was in this meeting room today with the programmers and they were presenting the design so far to me and they had drawn up plans of how it was going to work which was on a white board and the whole time I was in there I was thinking 'gosh I wonder if this is what it will be like when we are running a hugley successful fitness company?!' Dream big thats what I say!
I do go to quite a few meetings as you can imagine, but not ones where its so intimate and business like as todays was, normally I'm just in a room of many people listening to some one else speak but this was like someone presenting ideas to me, was cool.

Alex and I have decided to join a gym! Not now but when we get back. Theres an ace gym down the road from here which has the gym, 3 pools, classes and an indoor running track all for £29 p/m which is really good when you look at whats included. We've decided we need to do some market research for our future and become walking adverts. Alex wants to try and get some personal training or class teaching gigs there to give him experience. As we obviously want to try for a baby one of the things that has been worrying me a lot is the weight issues and now how that will affect our business plans so we figure the best thing to do would be for me to be part of a gym and get specialist help through it, towards the end it might be that I can only swim but if I can work out how to keep healthy and fit and pregnant then its all strings to add to our bows in the future. Alex wants me to train as a personal trainer too and I have toyed with the idea before so its probably not a bad idea but it will have to go on hold for now whilst we try for a child but after that once I'm back in shape hopefully its something I can pursue. Might be a mean PT though, dont have time for excuses!

Nearly bought Harry Potter today, it was £6 if you spent over £40 in Morrisons - how good is that?! I only decided against it because I didn't want to spend so much and I really want it on Blue Ray but thought I'd let you guys know in case you want the DVD.

Only good thing about Monday? my cupboards are lovely and full.

B: toast x 2 - brown multi. shake.
S: 2 hobnobs (I know I know! Alex was out to lunch and I was starving!) 2 slices of ham.
L: shake
S: handful of peanuts
D: ham salad. SF jelly.

Exercise: Jillian Burn and banish. 1 hour.
