Can't wait to hear about trails end dinner. Bit of a strange request, but could you let me know if it smells BBQ smokey (like flame tree BBQ does). That smell makes DD feel so sick that we won't be able to go if it does.

Thanks! We are actually going to the local carvery for our lunch on departure day. The purpose of such visit is to wave goodbye to vegetables for a few weeks!

Hi, we've never been to Flame a Tree BBQ but I know the smell you mean. We ate dinner at Trails end last year and none of us remember it smelling of BBQ so your DD should be ok. To be honest, we booked it because we read lots of great review but we didn't really enjoy the food. The atmosphere and staff were great and we loved the boat trip from WL but the food...not so much. To be fair, we also ate at Chef Mickeys and didn't enjoy the food there either so we're maybe just not big fans of buffets.
