OK, here goes. Starting with the rather disappointing Escape lounge T2 Manchester

Complimentary offerings were bacon or sausage rolls. They were made to order but were served on dry buns, we added our own butter. They were ok

Coffee and diet coke for me, just diet coke for Michelle.

We were in Upper Class on out flight and I have to say that I found the food execellent.

We both started with Chicken Satays which were awesome. Really spicy too

We were also served warm bread and wine and water

Next up we both had the Lemon and Thyme chicken. Again this was really good and the sauce so was so flavourful. I love pea shoots too so was happy to see those make an apearance.

Michelle was full so didnt eat anymore but I wasnt done yet. Dessert was a bowl of fabulously chocolatey caramel gooieness. It was chocolate salted caramel pudding and was molten in the middle. Absolutely gorgeous

It wasnt over yet folks as cheese and bicuits came next. Cheeses were good and served with a nice glass of half decent port

Barely able to move I settled down with a mug of really good coffee

Love the mug btw

Afternoon tea was served a couple of hours before landing. There were sandwhiches, various cakes and scones on offer. We were both still full upmthough so we just went for a sultana cream scone and a mug of tea each.

We have the dining plan this trip and dinner was taken at our resort QS, roaring forks.

We had our 'traditional' first night dinner of pepperoni flatbread and chicken nuggets. We were offed cucumber salad with our nuggets which I flatly refused in disgust No salad items on this trip than you

We also picked up a mahoosive carrot cake cupcake and a cookie which went back to the room with us. We had diet cokes from our (handleless) refillable mugs and got 2 bottles of orange juice which went in the room fridge.

We really enjoyed these to be honest. This sort of food can be really naff but eaverything was hot and prepared to order.

I polished off the two desserts back in the room later on. The cookie was meh but the cupcake was pretty awesome.

I was a little stuned to see that this would have put me back a whopping $40.09 if we didnt have DDP

This is the first time I've been paying attention to prices and I was stunned too. $80 for a QS meal for 4! No wonder we all love free dining!
UC looks amazing! Imagine being full on airplane food!
