Yup take a little bag as you would here - the residents tend to sit out on there porch or stand outside (many are dressed up too) to hand out sweets - we didn't knock on any doors. X
Thanks minnie52! Think we'll be adding this into our schedule for Halloween

Another one for Celebration!
We all dressed up - we were matching skeletons, although me and DH just had the tshirts on, and normal shorts and trainers.
We had a reservation at Town Tavern for 2.30, parked easily in the car park behind Starbucks, had a walk around the lake and some ice cream and started trick or treating at 5.30ish. A fantastic night!

So Trick or treating can start around 3pm?

Is it difficult leaving celebration because of busy traffic? Or just difficult trying to get in?

I went Halloween night last year, wasn’t as busy as I thought.

Trick or treating started around half 5 for us, there were a few families milling around, it wasn’t busy.

Getting in and out is hard at the wrong time. We left just after 9, the police were directing traffic. Still a lot of cars coming in, even though a lot of homes had run out of sweeties.

It took us nearly an hour to get out of Celebration, many large cars parked up, other cars can’t get through, lots of reversing and giving way. So if you have kids, maybe take some PJs for the car.

Don’t let it put you off though, it’s an amazing night.

Hi, these are pretty much our plans! Can I ask, is the car park a chargeable one? Will we need change for the machine or meter? And would you a). recommend the Town Tavern and b). recommend making a reservation at that sort of time in the afternoon?
Thanks.
